* For newhidups users:

to use newhidups, you need:
    - NUT 2.0.0 or NUT 2.0.1
    - libusb 0.1.7 or higher
    - a linux kernel 2.4.25 or 2.6.2 or higher

You might experience "Repetitive stale status - Loss of communication"

    To solve this point:
    - add "pollinterval=15" in ups.conf (check ups.conf manual page),
    - change the value of MAXAGE to 20 in upsd.conf (check upsd.conf manual page),
    - optionally change DEADTIME to 20 in upsmon.conf (check upsmon.conf manual page).

    You should adapt these values according to your tests and configuration.
    Finally note that this point will be addressed in future version of newhidups.
